I am a huge horse nerd. I have an enormous passion for working with horses and teaching others how to safely and effectively handle these guys. I have a little over 20 years personal experience in riding from the show ring, ranch riding, and trail.
My biggest personal passion is maintaining the tradition of the Californio bridle horse. An Old West way of training and riding, deeply rooted in ranching and practicality. The Californio bridle horse is an exceptional riding companion for the experienced Buckaroo. Come ride with me so I can show you just what makes this style so very special!

A way too friendly Appaloosa gelding at 14.1h, very forward and eager to please. Sensitive to cues and excellent at lateral work, awesome step up horse for those looking to improve their riding.

A larger than average Quarter Horse at 16.2h, but smooth and consistent as they come. Easy going for beginners and really rewarding for advanced riders! Lots of buttons on this big fella to play with.
Lessons
Lessons
I currently give lessons three days a week at City Ranch in Fresno. It is $50 per lesson with each lesson being about 60 minutes saddle time, but total barn time can easily be two hours. This includes time to saddle up, cool out, then untack and take care of your trusty steed.
** I am NOT currently equipped for smaller riders, adult riders (18+) only please! **
